2 Lecturer of FMIPA IPB are Awarded The Best Researchers 2011 LPPM Version
Institution of Research and Community Service (LPPM) IPB held The Research Seminar on 12-13 December 2011 at the Auditorium of Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences (FPIK) Dramaga Campus IPB Bogor. No less than 225 titles of research, scientists who are also lecturers of IPB, were displayed. Those studies/research funded by various sources, including Higher Education, Ministry of Agriculture and Ministry of Research and Technology (KNRT).
The seminar attended by partners of IPB, namely Agricultural Research Agency, Ministry of Agriculture, represented by Dr. Astu Unadi, Head of the Center for Development of Agricultural Mechanization Research Agency, Ministry of Agriculture and KNRT represented by Drs. Darwadi Anwar, Assistant Deputy Society Science & Technology Productivity. The event hosted by Director Deputy for Research LPPM IPB, Prof. Dr. Ronny Rachman Noor MRur.Sc. The event also attended by the Vice Rector for Research and Cooperation IPB, Prof. Anas Miftah Fauzi, the invitees from various relevant agencies in Bogor, IPB partners and researchers.
The researches were classified into 6 groups of areas, namely: Food Group 67 papers, Health Group 16 papers, Energy Group 6 papers, Economic Social & Culture Group 39 papers, Natural Resources Group papers, and Technology & Engineering Group 51 papers. At the end of the event was announced the best researchers in each category in which two of which came from the FMIPA IPB, they are Dr. Utut Widyastuti (Biology) from the Group of Natural Resources, with the title: Identification of Trichomes Gland for The Production of Artemisinin in Artemisia annua L. Using Molecular Approach; and Dr. Kiagus Dahlan (Physics) from the Group of Technology and Engineering, with the title: Development of Biphasic Calcium Phosphate (BCP) from eggshells wate.
LPPM as the organizer and guarantor of quality of research, congratulate and award the highest appreciation to the IPB researchers who have carried out research excellently and fully-dedicated in accelerating the mission of IPB as a university-based research.
