Dr. Sri Nurdiati as Keynote Speaker at APEC Peru 2016

LIMA (18/8) – Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) or APEC is a regional economic forum established in 1989 to enhance interdependency among Asia-Pacific countries. 21 APEC members aim to create a wider prosperity for local communities by promoting balanced, inclusive, sustainable, innovative and secure growth and by accelerating regional economic integration. This year, Peru will the host of this international conference.

As a part of APEC agendas held from 18 to 19 August 2016, at the Lima Convention Center, Peru, Dr. Sri Nurdiati was invited as a speaker in Workshop on Integrating Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Competencies in Education. The workshop is one of the key work outcomes of the APEC project: Identification of relevant experiences related to mechanisms for integrating STEM in the education and promotion of the STEM Learning Community, aimed at to enable exchanges of experience among APEC members (economics), on STEM integration in curriculum development and promotion of STEM teaching and learning practices.
